Static codes that never expire
Many QR services make "dynamic" codes that point to their own short link and redirect from there. If the service shuts down or starts charging, the printed code stops working. This generator writes your text straight into the code, so it keeps working as long as the link itself does, and nobody sees who scanned it.
Shorter content makes a simpler pattern that scans more easily from far away. For print, keep the code at least 2 cm wide and leave a white margin around it.
Frequently asked questions
Will the QR code expire?
No. The content is stored in the code itself, with no redirect service.
Can I see how many people scanned it?
No. Scan tracking needs a redirect link, which this tool deliberately avoids.
What size should I print it?
At least 2 × 2 cm for close scanning, larger for posters read from a distance.
